Buried at the heart of the Australian west coast night life flies a rock band that epitomizes everything you ever dreamt Western Australia had to offer - The Damien Cripps Band. They came back from the tumultuous long roads of the Australian highways with a sound that infected music lovers not only across Australia but scattered across the globe. There is blood in the songs. The debut single ‘Pictures’ recently exceeding sales of over 5000 copies (sold independently and most of them are signed!!). Receiving airplay on numerous radio networks worldwide, the band is set to work off their debut album. A working class band of members from varying backgrounds who have proved that every now and then a group of individuals can unite and expand the horizons of what those that came before them have carved.

There is no doubt those who have already witnessed the Damien Cripps Band are testament to the band's belief that what you give is what you will receive in return and that this is one thing that the government cannot tax you on. Every step we take in life someone is trying to hold us back. With music there are no lies, no limits and certainly no boundaries. The band has explored many genres in their debut album with the swampy southern tribal sound heard in ‘Angels in Darkness’ to the coastal roots surf tones that echo across ‘Pictures’.  See more ...

Still Frame Mind

Picture
Still Frame Mind are an up-and-coming Perth rock band whose unique sound fills a distinct gap in the current music horizon for melodic alternative rock.

Elements of stadium rock, grunge, and 90's alternative rock blend with acoustic roots, ambience and modern alternative influences, in a fusion of musical styles that results in a classic, yet contemporary sound that appeals to a wide range of music lovers.

Whilst a diverse range of influences is evident in the band's work, the defining characteristics that make them stand out are immediately identifiable: strong melodic vocal hooks accompanied by solid rhythms and free-flowing guitar.

Music buffs have compared the band's sound with the likes of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Faith No More, Incubus, Tool and The Butterfly Effect.  See more...

Wesley Goodlet Jamboree Scouts

Picture
10 years after a gig that was supposed to be a 'one-off', Wesley Goodlet Jamboree Scouts have well and truly proved that having a long and unwieldy name is no impediment to success!

Originally a side project for three members of popular Perth group "Murphy's Lore", The Scouts (or Wesleys), as they are more commonly known, bring their unique sense of irreverence, humour and musicality to their acoustic-based performances. The songs in their setlist highlight the immense vocal talents of the trio, as well providing a welcome spin on popular classics that don't often receive the stripped back acoustic treatment. You've never heard The Cure or The Human League quite like this…!

Comprised of Clayton Bolger on acoustic guitar, vocals and harmonica, Shaun Street on double bass and vocal and Kieran Murphy on drums and vocals, the Scouts have made a name for themselves in venues such as Eurobar, The Carine, The Boat, Rosie O'Grady's, The Balmoral, The Como and The Vic as well as special events including open days and weddings.  See more ...
